Survivors of sexual violence are gaining support from the Las Vegas community.

News 3 joined the nonprofit Signs of HOPE to kick off its ‘Hope for the Holidays’ fundraiser at The Venetian on Thursday.

Community members were invited to learn more about the mission and help raise $20,000 for sexual violence support programs.

News 3’s Marie Mortera also had the opportunity to emcee the event and share a message of healing for those traumatized by violence.

The Night Out with News 3 event returns every year to support victims of human trafficking and sexual abuse.
