About Us

Founded in 1974 as Community Action Against Rape (CAAR), Signs of Hope (SOH) began as the combined effort of Florence McClure and Sandra Petta, two women living in Las Vegas who were outraged by the lack of resources and respect for those affected by sexual support and resources they need to move through the process of healing.

    R.I.S.E. Program

    The Resources and Integration for Survivor Empowerment (R.I.S.E) program provides intensive and comprehensive services to anyone who is currently or has previously been a victim of human trafficking and exploitation.

    Those eligible for services include:

    • Adult and minors of all genders

    • Sex/labor trafficking victims

    • Citizens from the US, and other countries,   
       documented or undocumented

    If you or someone you know are a victim of any form of human trafficking in the Clark County area and seeking assistance, please contact the R.I.S.E program through the local advocate hotline.

    R.I.S.E. Program

    SOUTHERN NEVADA HUMAN TRAFFICKING TASK FORCE (SNHTTF)

    It is the mission of the SNHTTF to ensure the protection of victims, prosecution of offenders, and prevention of all forms of human trafficking through effective coordinated partnerships through a trauma informed and victim centered lens.

    • • Safety planning
    • • Relocation assistance
    • • Case management
    • • Transportation assistance
    • • Individual and group counseling
    • • Housing, Employment and Education support such as, job training programs, financial education, and obtaining a GED
    • • Court accompaniment and support
    • • Assistance obtaining identification and other essential documents
    • • Assistance accessing medical care
    • • Referrals for mainstream services such as SNAP, TANF, and Medicaid
    • • Coordination with other entities such as: law enforcement, Department of Family Services, immigration support, legal assistance & record sealing & expungement, & credit repair.
