Maureen Abdelsayed is Chief Operating Officer/Chief Legal Officer of Integrated Data Services (IDS), a federal defense technology company, where she leads legal strategy, corporate compliance, and daily operations across contracts, intellectual property, finance, and human resources. With nearly two decades practicing law, she was recently named the LA Times 2025 Executive of the Year for In-House Counsel. Her earlier career spans intellectual property law, commercial contracting, and international human-rights policy work with Amnesty International. She holds a J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law, a master’s certificate from NYU, and dual degrees from UC San Diego.

Beyond her executive role, Maureen is the founder and CEO of The Curious Esquire (TCE) Travel, a bespoke luxury travel concierge, and a seasoned organizer of galas, tournaments, and major fundraising events. She brings to the board a sharp legal mind, a skilled negotiator’s instincts, and an established network of committed philanthropists. These are assets she puts to work building the sustainable funding that keeps Signs of HOPE’s services free for survivors.

A woman leading in a male-dominated industry, Maureen is deeply committed to protecting and restoring the most vulnerable. She serves Signs of HOPE because she believes a community cannot look away from the survivors of sexual violence and human trafficking, and she is honored to lend her voice, her expertise, and her network to the organization’s mission of hope, help, and healing.
