About Us

Founded in 1974 as Community Action Against Rape (CAAR), Signs of Hope (SOH) began as the combined effort of Florence McClure and Sandra Petta, two women living in Las Vegas who were outraged by the lack of resources and respect for those affected by sexual support and resources they need to move through the process of healing.

    Open to the Las Vegas community, the monthly Las Vegas Health Studio is a monthly event which connects Vegas locals with same-day health services and free wellness workshops. Hosted at the Foundation for Recovery’s community recovery center, the Las Vegas Health Studio is not another health fair – attendees won’t just walk away with pamphlets and resources – the goal is to provide same-day services, engaging workshop and classes on personal health and wellness, and family-friendly activities.
