About Us

Founded in 1974 as Community Action Against Rape (CAAR), Signs of Hope (SOH) began as the combined effort of Florence McClure and Sandra Petta, two women living in Las Vegas who were outraged by the lack of resources and respect for those affected by sexual support and resources they need to move through the process of healing.

    January is National Human Trafficking Prevention Month. There are multiple forms of this, including sex trafficking and forced labor. We examine how trafficking affects Nevada and the efforts to combat these issues. Our panel of experts also share the many resources available to help survivors move forward from trafficking situations.
