About Us

Founded in 1974 as Community Action Against Rape (CAAR), Signs of HOPE (SOH) began as the combined effort of Florence McClure and Sandra Petta, two women living in Las Vegas who were outraged by the lack of resources and respect for those affected by sexual support and resources they need to move through the process of healing.

    SIGNS OF HOPE LAS-VEGAS August 18, 2026

    Signs of HOPE is accepting requests for free sexual assault prevention and education programs for students in pre-K through 12th grade. Available to public and private schools throughout Clark County, these age-appropriate programs help young people recognize unsafe situations and learn how to protect themselves and one another.

    Parents, teachers and school administrators can request programming by visiting our Prevention and Education page or calling 702-366-1640.
